Elizabeth M. Egerer, 101,
Versailles, formerly of Mexico, died at 7:00 a.m., Friday, Jan. 3, 2003,
at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, Jan. 6, 2003, at
11:00 a.m., at St. Brendan Catholic Church with the Rev. Henry Reichert
officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at the
Church. Burial will be in St. Brendan Cemetery. Pickering Funeral Home
is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Egerer was born on March 2, 1901, in Jefferson City, a
daughter of Joseph Andrew and Mary Rose Hudlin Kaufman. On May 6, 1919,
in Wellsville, she married Frederick W. (Bill) Egerer, who died on Nov.
12, 1975. They moved to Mexico in 1933. Mrs. Egerer was a member of St.
Brendan Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Stanley J. Egerer, Versailles,
and Carl W. Egerer, El Dorado, Ark.; one sister, Dorothy Landrum, St.
Louis; two grandchildren and two great grandsons.
In addition to her husband, two sisters, Lorraine Kaufman
and Roseanna Gentry, and four brothers, Frank, Oscar, Raymond and Joseph
Kaufman, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorials be given to St.
Brendan Church in her memory. They may be sent in care of Pickering
Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
