Joan Blaisdell, 62, of Lynn, Mass., died suddenly on June 24, 2003, at the home of her sister whom she was visiting in Mexico.

Ms. Blaisdell was born on Feb. 8, 1942, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of True Worthy James and Cathryn (Hurd) Blaisdell. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa and Maria Ricci, Lynn; two brothers, True Worthy James Blaisdell Jr., Nahant, Mass. And John Blaisdell, Marblehead, Mass.; three sisters, Mrs. Jean Russo, Lancaster, Mass., Mrs. Maureen Duso, Webster, Mass., and Mrs. Kathleen Rodriguez, Mexico, Mo.; and her stepmother, Mrs. Ruby Blaisdell, Mexico.

A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lynn at a later date. Arrangements in Lynn are being handled by Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St., Lynn 01902. Pickering Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
