Helen G. Davis, 98, of

, died at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004.
A graveside service will
be held Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at 11 a.m. at
Elmwood
Cemetery
with the Rev. Randall Sawyer officiating. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Davis was born on
June 20, 1906, in
Mexico
, a daughter of Henry Alexander and Lula Wilmoth Bosswell Grier. She
married Edward Lee Davis, Sr. who died on Sept. 1, 1965. She was a
Methodist.
Survivors include one
son, Ron Davis,
San Diego
,
Calif.
; a daughter, Donna Meyer,
Angleton
,
Tex.
; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Services are under the
direction of Pickering Funeral Home.
