Olga Marie Patton, 92, of Mexico, died at 5:40 a.m. Sept. 2, 2005, at Pin Oaks Nursing Center in Mexico. Mrs. Patton was born on Aug. 21, 1913, in Montgomery City, a daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Epsie May Mahanes Smith. On Nov. 9, 1929, in Montgomery City, she married Paul Raymond Patton, who died on July 8, 1978. She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Mexico. Survivors include a son, Don Patton and wife Carol, Mexico; two daughters, Marilyn Jung and husband Curtis, Mexico, and Carol Ragle and husband John, Liberty; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, two sons, Bobby and Billy, one brother, two sisters and her parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 2 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home with the Rev. Everett Bradshaw officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial gifts may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
