      Kenneth D. Tucker, Thompson, was taken by the Lord on Jan. 24, 2005, at the age of 72 years and 13 days.

Ken was born to Edward and Connie (nee DeBlois) Tucker on January 11, 1933, in Flat River , Mo. He was united in marriage to Mary L. Wortmann on July 28, 1973, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles , Mo. They were married for 31 years.

Ken was a welder by trade, and was a maintenance planner and scheduler for Lever Brothers Company in St. Louis County at the time of his retirement in 1988. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Mexico.

Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Tucker, Thompson; one son, Curtis and wife Marilyn, Sacramento, Calif.; three daughters, Marilyn Moore and husband Kenneth, Mount Zion, Ill., Carolyn Lyons and husband Garry, Ballwin, and Lisa Knatcal and husband Ted, Festus; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

His parents, two brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Mr. Tucker will be held on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Mexico with Pastor James Rhiver officiating. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.  Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery , Thompson , Mo.
