Lois Masters

Lois Colleen Masters, 80, of Mexico, died at 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at her granddaughter’s home in Mexico.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Mar. 2, at 11 a.m. at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Ostrom officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Masters was born Oct. 28, 1928, in Mexico, a daughter of Thomas Henry and Ethel Pauline (DeTienne) Harp. She was a member of Centennial Baptist Church.
She enjoyed bingo, embroidery, going to the casino, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her time working at the Mexico Senior Center, Mexico Rehabilitation Center, and Florsheim Shoes.
Survivors include one daughter, Arla L. Baise, Fulton; one son, Thomas O. Masters, Columbia; one brother, Alvin Eugene Harp, Rush Hill; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; one niece, and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harold Raymond Harp; and nephew, Christopher Harp. |
