Orval Henry Bise III

Orval Henry Bise III, 53, of Mexico, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.

He was born on Aug. 29, 1955, in Mexico, a son of Orval Henry and Lucy Lou Schutz Bise. He was a graduate of Mexico High School, and worked with Audrain Handicap Services. He had also worked at the Missouri Veterans Home. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Mexico, and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his mother, Lucy Bise, Mexico; his long-time companion, Kathy Benton, Mexico; one son, Brian Benton, Mexico; two daughters, Jennifer Baker and husband Kenneth, Mexico, and Melinda Vescovo and husband Anthony, Auxvasse; five brothers, Larry Bise and wife Tammy, Rush Hill, Gary Bise, Jeff Bise, and Keith Bise and wife Cheryl, Little Rock, Ark., and Cecil Bise, Auxvasse; three sisters, Phillis Langford and husband Jim, Arkansas, Brenda Benjamin, and Ellen Wolfe and husband Ronald, Mexico; and four granddaughters, Olivia Benton, Madilyn Benton, Kellie Baker, Lillian Baker and one grandson, Keyton Benton.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Glenn Forman officiating.

The family suggests memorials be given to the American Diabetes Association. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
