Betty Fisher

   Betty Ruth Fisher, 78, of Mexico died at 5:12 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Golden Living Center/Pin Oaks.

   She was born August 4, 1930 in Mexico, a daughter of Hollis S. Davidson Sr. and Verna Ann Huff.

   She was married to Donald Robert Fisher, Sr., who survives. She is also survived by her children, Larry D. (Susan) Woods, Robbie (Trudy) Fisher, and Debbie McMinn, all of Mexico, Donna Fisher, Columbia, Mike (Erin) Fisher, Vernon Hills, Ill., and Gary (Marisa) Fisher, Doniphan; one brother, Stanley (Glendean) Davidson; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Wilbur, Alan and Donnie Davidson; one sister, Velma Lankard; and two infant siblings; one granddaughter, Jennifer Woods and twin grandsons, Jason and Joseph Fisher.

   A dinner for friends and family will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 25, at the Clark Christian Life Center of the First Church of the Nazarene in Mexico. A memorial service will be held immediately following the dinner.

   Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 2726 S. Clark, Mexico, MO 65265.
