Gale Head    Gale D. Head, 66, of Mexico, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at his home.    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Pickering Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Jones officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.    Mr. Head was born September 23, 1942, in Macon, a son of Noble Glen and Effie (Miller) Head. On March 19, 1977, in Mexico, he married Mary Rehma. Mrs. Head survives at the home.    Gale loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed working on small engines.    In addition to his wife survivors include, five sons, Jimmie Dean Head and wife Nicole, Ewing, Joseph Gale Head, Newbury Park, Calif., Gale Dean Head, Jr., Lake Ozark, Raymond Glen Head and wife Peggy, Macon, and Daniel Wayne Head, Macon; three daughters, Rhonda Sue Struttmann, Mexico, Sara L. Miller, Macon, and Lori Ann Head, Mexico; one sister, Cerise Sibert, Roseland, Fla.; 21 grandchildren, including his special granddaughter, Mary, two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.    He was preceded in death by one son, John H. Struttmann; four brothers, and three sisters.    Memorials may be given to Audrain Relay for Life. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
