Theodore Bryan     Theodore Edwin Bryan, 88, of Mexico, died at 12:05 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2009, at Country View Nursing Home in Bowling Green.    Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Clouse officiating. There will be no visitation.    Mr. Bryan was born March 28, 1921, in Mexico, the son of Jess Edward and Edna Dawn (Bird) Bryan. On June 23, 1946, in Mexico he married Anna Belle Burchett who died April 3, 1992.    He had worked as a custodian for many years at First Christian Church in Mexico. He had previously worked at Missouri Military Academy, Audrain Medical Center and for the City of Mexico at Elmwood Cemetery. He was a member of Church of God Holiness in Mexico.    Survivors include one son, James E. Bryan, Vandalia; one brother, Leroy Bryan, Fort Dodge, Iowa; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.    In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and 3 sisters.

Ill never forget the things he would say like "I cant be bothered with this today" and "It's a great life if we DONT WEAKIN". I once said that I was trying to live my life by that last one and I hoped he was telling me the truth. He just gave me that big grin. I'll treasure the time I spent with him and what he gave to my life he's forever in my heart.
