Iola Renner
Iola Burgess Renner, 83, of Mexico, formerly of Moberly, died at 4:51 p.m., Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 at Golden Living Center/Pin Oaks.
Mrs. Renner was born Nov. 14, 1925, in Curryville, Mo., a daughter of Orville Raymond and Alice Leota (Lamme) Burgess. She was married to Gerald F. Renner who preceded her in death in 1999.
Mrs. Renner was a supervisor and bookkeeper at City Bank in Moberly for 35 years. She also had been very active in the Women of the Moose in Moberly.
Survivors include several nieces, Martha Long Phillips, Jane Long Norman, Nancy Long Moss, Beverly Burgess Payne, and Rebecca Burgess.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Long; one brother, Dr. E.E. Burgess; and a nephew, John David Long.
Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
At Mrs. Renners request there will be no formal service. Her cremains will be buried in Vandalia Cemetery. Pickering Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. |
