Mitchel Todd Wagner

  

Mitchel "Mitch" Todd Wagner, 38, of Mexico passed away at 11 a.m.,  Saturday, January 30, 2010, in Eldon.

   Mitch was born July 25, 1971, in Mexico, the son of William R. Wagner and Judy L. Todd.  He attended school in Mexico and Parkway North in Creve Coeur, Missouri.  He worked in construction for many years before starting his own paint contracting company.  Some of his many interest included hunting and fishing as well as billiards.  He was on several billiard leagues throughout the St. Louis area, and won many tournaments.  Mitchel loved spending time with his family and friends and was loved by all.

   Mitch is survived by his mother Judy L. Todd of Mexico, his father Bill Wagner and wife Kathy of Martinsburg, one daughter, MacKenzie Wagner, St. Louis, one step-sister, Christina DeVere and husband Christian, Hawaii; several aunts and uncles including, Bill Todd, Mexico, Trudy Fisher and husband Robbie, Mexico, Tary Todd and wife Janine, St. Peters, JoRene Dixon, Derby, Kansas, Leland Wagner and wife Judy, Mexico; and a nephew, Trenton Parker, Fulton.

   He was preceded in death by a sister, Marci Parker; maternal grandparents, Harry and Mary Todd; and paternal grandparents, Clifford Wagner and Mildred Wagner-Branstetter.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 3rd, at Pickering Funeral Home with the Reverend Chris Atkinson officiating.  Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

   Casketbearers include Ryan Fisher, Vince Campbell, Travis Reed, Tim Schroeder, Scott Batts and Vic Thebeau.

   Memorial contributions may be given to Centennial Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society c/o Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.

Our families are so sorry to hear about the passing of Mitchell Wagner. We remember him growing up in Mexico and always having so much fun playing in our gardens, picking watermelons and running around. Our hearts are heavy with grief. The Aldrich family, Will Todd and family, Ashley Todd Ellen Cross, Katie Freeman, and Johnny and Suzi Freeman.

So sad to hear this, and totally unexpected... he was a friend of mine that I had known since elementary school. RIP Mitchell.

We seen the tribute with All of the Great pictures of Mitch and seen the Love He had for Everyone. You can see it in His eyes. I will never forget the days at the public swimming pool in Mexico "hitting the high dive" splashing the life guards with our signature dive.
