Pauline Salmons

Pauline Elizabeth Salmons, 86, of Mexico, died at 6 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2006, at Pin Oaks Nursing Center.

Private family services were held on August 15, 2006, at East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Smith officiating.

Mrs. Salmons was born on Aug. 6, 1921, in Mexico the daughter of Jesse and Cecilia Loumis Kelsay. She had worked for Crown Laundry and was a member of First Baptist Church in Mexico.

Survivors include three sons, William Martin and wife Judy, Benton City, Charles “Chuck” Martin and wife Donna, Mexico, and Harold Lee Martin and wife Robin, Paris; one sister-in-law, Margaret Kelsay; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

One daughter, Emma, three brothers, and one sister preceded her in death.

Pickering Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Ms. Pauline was one of my favorite residents to work with, she was always in a uplifting spirt, even when we would go in at 4:30/ 5:00 in the morning to get her up. My deepest sympathy for her family. may god bless.
