Alexander L. Munford, 24, of Mexico, passed away at 8:30 a.m., Sunday September 5, 2021, at University Hospital in Columbia.

His family is planning private memorial services. He was entrusted to the care of Pickering Funeral Home.

Alexander was born in Mexico on January 25, 1997. He was the son of Spencer Lee Munford and Christina Sue Lynn.

Alexander's family describes him as being good hearted, adventurous, and a good friend. He enjoyed eating at his grandmothers, tinkering in the garage with his dad, playing with his little sister Ely, and listening to music.

Survivors include his dad, Spencer Munford (Kathy), of Mexico; his mother Christina Lynn, of Mexico; paternal Grandmother, Nancy Saulnier, of Mexico; maternal grandfather, Charles Louis Lynn, of Martinsburg; four brothers, Brett Bybee, of Mexico, Dalton Gravitt, of Mexico, Troy Gravitt, of Mexico, and Daniel Polston, of Boonville; three sisters, Ciara Lynn, of Mexico, Brittnie Walls, of Mexico, Ely Sears, of Higbee; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ellen Kay Worthington; and paternal grandfather, Charles "pee wee" Munford.
