Allen Johnston

Larry Allen Johnston, 69, formerly of Mexico, died at 12:33 a.m. June 26, 2007, at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville.

Mr. Johnston was born on April 18, 1938, in Shelbina, the son of John A. and Mildred Louise (Peters) Johnston. He was a member of Centennial Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Pickering Funeral Home with the Revs. Jerry Ostrom and Chris Atkinson officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include one sister, Shirley Willingham and her husband Robert, Laddonia; one aunt, Erma Peters Renneke, Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents preceded him in death.
