Anna Allison

Anna Allison, 53, of Mexico, died at 5:06 p.m., Monday. August 4, 2014, at University Hospital in Columbia.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 13th at Sunrise Christian Church with Rev. Raymond Iman officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Anna was born December 30, 1960, in Hannibal, Mo., a daughter of Marvin L. and Cecile J. (Jamison) Thompson.

On August 28, 1997, in Mexico, she married Joe Allison, who survives at the home.

Anna enjoyed horseback riding, barrel racing, working in the greenhouse and gardening. She loved animals. She also enjoyed entertaining her grandson who was the apple of her eye.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her mother, Cecile Thompson; one son, Ryan Allison (Audrie) of Mexico, two daughters, Heather Allison of Spokane, Wash. and April Allison of Mexico; two brothers, Charles Thompson (Susie) of Martinsburg, and Marvin Thompson, Jr. (Rhonda) of Spokane, Wash.; two brothers-in-law, Jack Allison (Debbie) of Mexico, and Glenn Allison of Mexico; three sisters, Connie Jackson of Mexico, Rita Magruder of Auxvasse, and Sue Barker of Tenn.; one sister-in-law, Sherry Allison of Mexico, one grandchild, Marvin Allison, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and two sisters.
