Arthur W. Steinbruegge

Arthur W. Steinbruegge, 86, of Mexico, formerly of St. Louis, died at 1:50p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011, at the Ferguson Church of the Nazerene.

Mr. Steinbruegge was born on September 20, 1924, in St. Louis, Mo., a son of William Deitrich and Katherine Sofia (Ueltzen) Steinbruegge. On March 19, 1949, in St. Louis, he married Dolores Kelleher, who preceded him in death.

Arthur was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1942 until 1946. He was employed by Laclede Gas Company where he was an engineer.

He is survived by two sons, Arthur Steinbruegge Jr. and wife Brenda, Breckenridge Hills, Mo., Steven Jon Steinbruegge, Mexico; two daughters, Cynthia Hoffman and husband Robert, Ferguson, Mo., and Susan Ann Steinbruegge, Mexico.

In addition to his wife, Dolores he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
