Barbara Inlow

Barbara Inlow, 73 of Centralia, died at 4:35 a.m., Tuesday, June 03, 2014 at her home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2014, at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Fran Schnarre officiating. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 p.m., Thursday. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico.

Barbara was born July 22, 1940, in Jersey County, Ill., a daughter of Victor Arthur and Louise Elizabeth (Ashlock) Sears.

On December 19, 1981, in Centralia, she married Arthur D. Inlow, who survives at the home. Barbara graduated from Jersey Community High School and she attended Rubicam Business School in St. Louis. She worked for A.B. Chance/Hubbell Power Systems for 23 years, retiring in 2002. She had also worked as a legal secretary for several years in Mexico. Barbara was a member of Normandale United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Ala.

In addition to her husband, survivors include one son, Darrell J. Green and wife Debra of Hermiston, Ore.; two step sons, Mike Inlow and wife Lisa of Ashland, and Dale Inlow, Jr. and wife Monica of Santa Maria, Calif.; one daughter, Jane E. Parker of Centralia; two step daughters; Diane Lewis and husband Robin of Moberly and Julie Holpuch and husband Dale of Moberly; five sisters, Mary Jane Jennings and husband Robert of Centralia, Shirley Woods and husband Bill of Eldon, Sharon Jung of Mexico, Carol Dollens and husband Charlie of Centralia, and Betty Hoffman and husband Jim of Centralia; five grandchildren, Emily, Katie and Anna Parker all of Centralia and Sami and Tony Green of Herminston, Ore.; 16 step grandchildren, and 13 step great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor Arthur Sears, Jr. and Roger Alvin Sears; and one infant sister, Elizabeth Ann Sears.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Preferred Hospice. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
