Barbara K. Lee

Barbara K. Lee, 59, of Auxvasse, died at 12:25 a.m., Sunday, February 11, 2007, at Loma Linda Health Care in Moberly.

Family graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in theshelter at the Auxvasse Cemetery with Father Clifford Smart officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m.at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico.

Mrs. Lee was born Dec. 8, 1947, in Keytesville, a daughter of Chester E. and Nola Jean (Ashley) Cooper. On July 3, 1965, in Auxvasse, she married Edward Lee. Mr. Lee survives at the home in Auxvasse.

Barbara was a farm wife and mother helping on the farm for over 15 years. At one time she had also worked at Cooper s Store in Auxvasse. She was a member of the Auxvasse Happy Homemakers Club.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her father, Chester, and his wife Ruth of Auxvasse; two sons, Joseph Kyle Lee and wife Roberta, Columbia, and Robert Edward Lee, Austin, Tex.; one daughter, Rebecca Ellen Haarmann, Fulton; one brother, Dr. Glenn Cooper, Cape Girardeau; one sister, Debbie Roberts, Fulton; four grandsons, Casey and Josh Haarmann and Joe and Robert Lee.

She was preceded in death by her mother Nola Jean, a daughter, Shelly Yvonne Lee, and a brother Donnie Cooper.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the Huntington s Disease Society of America. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
