Barbara Lynn Rooney, 87, wife of Donald Hildebrand of Centralia, formerly of Mexico, passed away at 12:00 p.m., Saturday July 17, 2021, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 Northwest 108 ^th Street, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will follow in Terrace Park Cemetery.

There will also be a visitation in Mexico from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday July 21, 2021, at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico.

Barbara was born in Centralia, Missouri on May 17, 1934, the daughter of Earl and Ione (Williamson) Seymour. She married James L. Taylor in 1953, and he preceded her in death in 2011. She then married Francis Rooney in 1976, and he passed away in 2001. In September of 2007 in Branson, Missouri, she married Donald M. Hildebrand who survives.

She was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church in Mexico. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Laurie, Missouri. She was retired from working for over 30 years with Sears in Kansas City. Her early years after retirement were spent in the Laurie, Missouri area at the Lake of the Ozarks. And later she traveled much of the United States trucking with Don.

In addition to her husband Don and his family, survivors include one son Jon D. Taylor, of Kansas City; two daughters, Jama Taylor Rooney, of Olathe, Kansas, and Janice L. Taylor Mamie (Steve L.), of Lathrop, Missouri; two brothers, Kenneth E. Seymour, of Kearney, Missouri, and David S. Seymour (Ann), of Lee's Summit, Missouri; one sister, Jane Janes, of Kansas City, Missouri;  numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, and one daughter, Joy Taylor.
