Bobby Gene Woolridge, 78, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, at his home.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Larry Baitinger will be officiating the service.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 25, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at Pickering Funeral Home.

Mr. Woolridge was born on March 4, 1945 in Salisbury, the son of Johnny and Sally (Steinbach) Woolridge. On July 2, 2001 he married Gail Wyss in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bobby had a passion for older cars. He was more than happy to spend time talking cars with his friends. Bobby was especially fond of his 1957 Chevy 2-door hardtop Belair. He owned and cared for the car for over 50 years. Bobby also enjoyed gardening. He and Gail tended two gardens and donated much of the produce to various senior groups in the community. Bobby loved his family dearly and will be missed by all, including his cat "Miley".

Survivors include his wife, Gail Woolridge of Mexico; one daughter, Lisa (Jason) Jobe of Russellville; one step-daughter, Heather Wyss of Mexico; one brother, Steve (Vicki) Woolridge of Mexico; four sisters, Terri (Donald) Moore of Mexico, Linda (David) Schmidt of Jefferson City, Marie (Jim) Winkelmann of Mexico and Letty Sherrow of Mexico, as well as three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Woolridge was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Sally Woolridge; two brothers, Randy Woolridge and Jimmy Woolridge; two sisters, Judy O'Connor and Charlotte Slaughter.
