Brenda Crouch

Brenda L. Crouch, 73, of Mexico, formerly of Dallas, Tex., died at 11:43 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Audrain Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Schnipper officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

She was born in Mexico on August 1, 1940, a daughter of J.T. and Margaret (Ingrum) Watts. On Dec. 26, 1975 in Dallas, Tex. she married David Crouch who survives at the home.

Brenda retired and moved back to Mexico in 2012. She had been Vice President of Marketing with Dick's Last Resort Restaurants that is based in Dallas. She was also active in civic betterment in Dallas by serving on the West End Association and the Dallas Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the Cowboy Church in Waxahachie, Texas.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Sherry Olive and husband Ricky, DeSoto, Tex., and Jerri Crouch, Escondido, Calif.; two sons, Jay Johnston and wife Jo, Red Oak, Tex., and Jason Crouch, Vallejo, Calif.; one sister, J'Teena Logerman and husband Tim, Mexico; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Matthew Johnston.
