Carl DiPasquale

Carl Joseph DiPasquale, 67, of Mexico, died at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Mexico with the Rev. Joel Krueger officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home. An Elks service will begin at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mr. DiPasquale was born on August 31, 1940, in Kenosha, Wis., the son of Joseph Mario and Adeline Eve Gualtiere DiPasquale. On May 26, 1962, in Marianna, Fla., he married Jeanette Cloud, who survives at the home. He had served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for Goodyear Tire in Management and Marketing for 43 years, retiring in March 2001. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Mexico Elks Lodge #919.

In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Tony DiPasquale, Mexico; a son-in-law, Ron Richards, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; one sister Florence Cosentino, Sarasota, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Travis Mario Richards and Brady Lee Richards, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

A daughter, Tracey Lynn Richards, preceded him in death.
