Carl "Braxton" Ulrich, 56, of Center, formerly of Mexico and Spokane, Washington, passed away at 5:59 A.M., on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Private graveside services were held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Bowling Green, Missouri. Pickering Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Carl was born on January 8, 1965, in Spokane, Washington, the son of Oscar E. and Jane (Hinson) Ulrich. He attended and graduated from West Valley High School in Spokane. He moved to Mexico with his parents in 1997. Over the years he worked in a few different jobs in and around the Spokane and Mexico areas.
Carl had a jovial sense of humor and his easy going demeanor made him a friend to many. He was known as "Braxton" by his lifelong friends. He had a love for music; especially the blues and he had a passion for animals. His willingness to work, no matter the chore, was a trait that was inspirational.
He is survived by his brother, Vern Ulrich, of Shady Valley, Tennessee, and his nephew, Vernon Ulrich, Jr. of Mexico; and three great nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents.
He was laid to rest with his family at Greenlawn Cemetery in Bowling Green, Missouri.
He was loved much and will be greatly missed.
