Cathryn S. Walzer, 83, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at Teal Lake Assisted Living.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly, Missouri.

Cathryn was born on January 19, 1942 in Denton County, Texas, the daughter of Roland and Mildred (Nichols) Howard.  Cathryn was married to Tom Ross and Chuck Ekdahl who preceeded her in death. Later she married Sam Walzer in Arizona, who also preceeded her in death.

Cathryn was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church and actively involved in GriefShare. In Arizona, she was also a proud member of the Elks Lodge. Known for her kind and generous spirit, Cathryn was always ready to help others. Quick-witted and feisty, she brought humor, honesty, and warmth to those around her. Cathryn will be remembered for her helpful nature, sharp wit, and genuine care for people.

Survivors include, one son, Chris Ross (Diana) of Mexico; three grandchildren Katie Ross of Columbia, Crystal Jensen (J.R.) of Mexico, and Jennifer Onofrio of Columbia; three great grandchildren, McKinley, Aiden; and one great great grandchild, Atreus.

Cathryn was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands; and one son Howard Ross.
