Cathy Marie Mathews, 50, of Mexico, died at 9 p.m. Friday November 2, 2018, at SSM Saint Mary's Hospital-Audrain.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. Tuesday November 6, 2018, at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico.

Cathy was born in the state of Washington on July 27, 1968. She was the daughter of Ralph and Susan (Conklin) Lowery.

She previously had worked at Pin Oaks in Mexico as the Business Office Manager. She was Catholic. She enjoyed crafting, quilting, and volunteering. She loved to help others in any way she could.

Survivors include two daughters, Kelley Bryson (Darius Gish), Mexico, and Melissa Bryson, Edina, Mo.; one son, Jacob Bryson (Danielle Holcomb), Lynwood, Washington; two sisters, Crystal Keeney, Oklahoma, and Brandy Lowery, Washington; two brothers, Jason Lowery, Oklahoma, and Randy Lowrey, Washington; five grandchildren, Julianna Gish, Isaac Carr, Aaliyah Gish, Chloe Gish, and Paige Gish. The family is also very thankful for the care given to Cathy by her long-time friend Doug Diedrich.
