Cody Hanley

Cody M. Hanley, 44, of Mexico, died at 7:44 a.m., Friday June 20, 2014, at University Hospital in Columbia.

Memorial services will be held at 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Baitinger officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Cody was born Oct. 15, 1969, a son of Mark Patrick Hanley and Karen Kay Pugh. He worked in construction and loved riding motorcycles, playing golf, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his father, Pat Hanley, Mexico; mother, Karen Fierge, Mexico; one son, Ryan Lunsford, Mexico; two daughters, Karlie Hanley, and Samantha Hanley, both of Mexico; three brothers, Ben Hanley, St. Louis, Eric Fierge, Rush Hill, Matthew Fierge, Greeley, Colorado; two sisters, Amy Husted, Jefferson City, and Amanda Doyle, Mexico; four grandchildren, Brayden and Brantley Lunsford, James Hanley, and Reagan Scott; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
