Dale G. Harvey

Dale G. Harvey, 94, of Jonesburg, formerly of Mexico, died at 9:05 p.m. Thursday February 22, 2018, at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday February 26, 2018, at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Iman officiating. Visitation will be Monday from Noon until service time. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Dale was born April 13, 1923, in High Gate, Missouri, to William and Viva (Morelock) Giesler. On November 27, 1963, in Mexico, she married Ernest R. Harvey who preceded her in death on December 5, 1976.

Dale worked for Florsheim Shoe Factory in Mexico for 23 years. She was a member of the former Love Street Christian Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Pierce Sumpter and husband Brad, Warrenton; one sister Lucille Vincent of Belle, Missouri; four grandchildren, Katie (Miller) Dushoff and husband Adam of Columbia, Jason Sumpter of Austin, Texas, Erin Westerberg and husband Matt of Eagle, Colorado, Stacey Ostmann and husband Brad of St. Charles, Missouri; seven great grandchildren, Lincoln, Kennedy and Monroe Dushoff, Nolan and Tanner Westerberg, Addison and Kenzie Ostmann,; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter Betty Pierce Miller; one step son, Larry Harvey; three brothers, Utah, William and Edward Giesler; seven sisters, Delpha Moreland, Wilma Shanks, Ruby Mosher, Eula Belle Mesko, Hortense Wofford, June Moore, and Ethel May Fryer.

The family suggests memorials be given to the Laura Miller George Help Center. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
