Dale Sherrow

A. Dale Sherrow, 65 of Mexico, died at 12:39 a.m., Dec 14, 2012, at Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec 18, 2012, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mexico. Visitation will be Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Dale was born on Dec 6, 1947, in Mexico, a son of Cecil Lester and Helen Jane (Durham) Sherrow. On Nov 20, 1973, in Salt Lake City, Utah, he married Linda Kay Erdel, who survives at the home.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served as Branch President from 2002 until 2007. He was also a member of Boy Scout Troop 37.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Lester Sherrow and wife Amy, Mukwonago, Wis., and Bryan Sherrow and wife Sabra, Mexico; seven daughters, Shellisa Rahmouni and husband Mehdi, Hopkinsville, Ky., Jennifer Sherrow, Mexico, Lillie Branson and husband Josh, Mexico, Lynn Alley and husband Adam, Columbia, Rebecca Aiche and husband Amar, Ningbo, China, Jacqueline De Man and husband David, Magna, Utah, Nancy Forgy and husband Dennis, Columbia; one sister, Mary Haubner, Auxvasse; 22 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by three brother and two sisters.
