Daniel "Dan" L. Bertrand

Dan L. Bertrand, 66 of Mukilteo, Wa., died at his home, Wednesday, June 18, 2014.

Services are pending and will be held at a later date. Pickering Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Dan was born May 11, 1948, in Sioux City, Iowa, a son of Harold L. and Teresa (Jauron) Bertrand of Mexico.

He served in the Air Force from 1967 - 1974, as a Survival Instructor. He was stationed in the Philippians for two years. Later in life became a truck driver and retired after many years. He was a member of the Mexico High School Class of 1966.

Survivors include his parents, and his wife Linda; one son; Marc (Erin) Bertrand of Farmersville, Tx., and one daughter, Danielle Bertrand of Mesa, Ariz; two brothers, Mike (Barb) Bertrand of Farmington, and Bob (Wanda) Bertrand of Mexico; two sisters, Colleen (Dan) Sanders of Millersburg, Tami (Bob) Trabue of Mexico, and two step- granddaughters, Abra and Emille; six granddaughters, Taylor, Ryann, Noelle, Braelyn, Samantha Faye all of Farmersville, Tx.; and Alyssandra Bertrand of Mesa, Ariz. and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother; Tim Bertrand in 1974.
