David Andrew Moyle




David Andrew Moyle, 50, of Mexico, died at 2:49 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 29,2012, 10:30 a.m., at Pickering Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012. Pallbearers are Jared Schutte, Dustin Johnson, Brandon Hammers, Ed Wolfe, Cary Montague, Derek Hull; and honorary pallbearers are Floyd Stueber, David Davis, Kenny Reichers, Doug Williams, Shawn Stueber, Joe Polston, David Polston, Jeff Polston, Tommy Fox, and Gene Beal. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

David was born on Oct. 29, 1961, in Carpentersville, Il., a son of Roy Arthur Moyle and Barbara Jean (Hatfield) Clark. On Dec. 7, 1984, in Thompson, he married Jane Polston, who survives him at the home.

He worked with his father in RA Moyle Construction for many years. He then owned and operated DA Moyle Construction. Most recently worked at Highway R-3 Doors and also worked for D and S Builders.

David was a member of Lockewood Baptist Church in Mexico. He was a member of the Mexico Men's Bowling Association. and United States Bowling Congress. David loved bowling and arrowhead hunting, fishing, bow-hunting, and camping. He really enjoyed wrestling with his grandson. His favorite Nascar Driver was #14 Tony Stuart.

In addition to his wife Jane, he is survived by his father Roy A. Moyle and wife Virginia, Biloxi, Miss.,one son, Brandon Moyle and wife Kendra, Mexico; two daughters, Kayla Cavanaugh, Columbia, and Rushelle Moyle and Fiancee Dan, Mexico; special niece, Britni Gifford, of the home;three sisters, Pam Dominguez and husband Vince, Streamwood, Il, Beth Sapp and husband Bill, Raytown, Mo, and Cathy Moyle, Topeka, Ks; three step-brothers and two step-sisters, all of Texas; three Brother-in-laws, Joe Polston and wife Robin, Mexico, David Polston and companion Paula, Mexico, and Jeff Polston and wife Kelly, Mexico; one sister-in-law, Joyce Williams and husband Doug, Mexico; two grandsons, Michael Logan Cavanaugh and Houston Daniel Hogan, numerous nieces and nephews including Lindsay Polston and Jennifer Stuart who we give special thanks for their care during David's final days; and support of his special friend Floyd Stueber, Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara (Hatfield) Clark, paternal grandparents, Oren and Pearl Moyle, Maternal Grandparents, Stephen and Violet Hatfield, one brother Roy A. Moyle Jr., father-in-law, Russell Polston, and one nephew, Raymond Tasovac.

David gave the gift of life through organ donation.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or American Heart Assn. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
