Douglas Kreyling

Douglas Stephen Kreyling, 48, of Mexico, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at University Hospital in Columbia. Doug died as a result of injuries sustained from an accidental fall at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Church of God Holiness in Mexico with Pastor Mark Avery officiating. A committal service will be held following the memorial service at Elmwood Cemetery. Pickering Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Doug was born Nov. 18, 1969, in Mexico. He is survived by his father, Edward Kreyling and his wife Terri, of Mexico; and his mother, Connie (Dickerson) Burkhead and husband Lonnie, of Stilwell, Kansas.

In addition to his parents, survivors include one brother, Jason Burkhead (33), Lewisburg, Kansas; two sisters, Deanna Lynn McCabe (44), Kansas City, Missouri, and Vanessa Kreyling (25) of Fulton; three nieces; and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
