Edna Mae Coldwell Holtkamp

Edna C. Holtkamp, 95, of Mexico, died at 6:10 a.m. on Jan. 13, 2008, at Audrain Medical Center.

Mrs. Holtkamp was born on Dec. 18, 1912, in Audrain County, the daughter of Buddie and Vannie (Watts) Coldwell. On Oct. 23, 1938, she married Frank T. Holtkamp Sr., who died on Sept. 16, 1960. On Sept. 15, 1976, she married Bernard Raymond Holtkamp, who died on Feb. 11, 1979. She had farmed, and later worked for the International Shoe Company which became Florsheim Shoe. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Frank T. Holtkamp Jr., Auxvasse; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held on Jan. 15, 2008, at Pickering Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Walker officiating. There was no visitation. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
