Edward Fry, Jr.

Edward K. Fry, Jr., 63, of Los Angeles, California, died on June 10, 2017, in Los Angeles.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Edward was born to Cecilia Palmer Delaney and Mr. Edward Fry, Sr. on April 3, 1954, in Mexico. He was raised by Richard and Millie Patterson in Mexico. All preceded him in death.

Edward graduated from Mexico High School in 1973. After graduation he moved to K.C. MO where he worked as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and CB Ham Radio. He fellowship with Second Baptist Church in K.C. MO.

He is survived by a daughter Tysha Shepherd (Arizona); Granddaughter Taja-nay McGinni (Arizona); one sister Tonya Fry English (Boston, MA); two brothers Jessie Delaney (K.C. MO) and Darren Fry (Boston, MA); a special cousin Mrs. Frances Parker White (Los Angeles, CA); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandparents Mr. & Mrs. George Sr. and Fannie Palmer, Mrs. Dorothy Fry Blue, and Mr. Johnny Fry, Sr.; also one sister, Deborah Delaney; and one brother, Andre Delaney of K.C. MO.
