Elizabeth D. "Betty" Goslin

Elizabeth D. Betty Goslin, 79, of Mexico, died at 10:35 a.m. on Jan. 17, 2007, at Audrain Medical Center.

Mrs. Goslin was born on June 29, 1927, in Benton City, a daughter of John Martin and Inez Verna Lewis Hildebrand. She was a graduate of Centralia High School. On June 27, 1946, in Mexico, she married Lee T. Goslin, who survives at the home. She was a member of Liberty Christian Church, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, camping, and shopping.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, at Pickering Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Jones officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Tom Goslin and wife Ellen, Mexico; daughter, Verna K. Landrum and husband Garry, Mexico; brother, Don Hildebrand, Mexico; sister, RoseMary Reese, Cheyenne, Wyo.; seven grandchildren, Courtney Brixey, Mexico, Leigha Goslin, Mexico, Chance Goslin, Mexico, Crysta Goslin, Columbia, Jeff Landrum and wife Deborah, Thompson, Derrick Landrum, Mexico, and Jennifer Landrum, Mexico; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

One son, John F. Goslin, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
