Elizabeth A. Gould

Elizabeth A. Gould, 79, of Mexico, died at 6:11 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Pin Oaks Nursing Center in Mexico.

Mrs. Gould was born March 8, 1928 in Mexico, a daughter of Paul Allen Wilkerson and Mary E. (Redmond) Dibble. On February 14, 1947 she was married to Clarence Pork Chop Gould. Mr. Gould preceded her in death on February 9, 1999.

Survivors include four daughters, Nancy Gould, Mexico, Mary Onukogu and husband Gordon, St. Louis, Rachel Owens, Mexico, and Sandra Gould, Columbia; one brother, John Dibble, Little Rock, Arkansas; one sister, Melissa Harris, Des Moines, Iowa; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy Ann Gould, and two infant sons.

Elizabeth was a member of Second Baptist Church where she faithfully worked. She had worked with Bible School and in the McKim Mission Circle. She had also worked with Bible School at St. Paul CME Church.

At her request her funeral services will be a graveside service which will be held Wednesday at 10 am at Elmwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Second Baptist Church. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
