Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Emily Joyce (Potter) Doebelin, passed away with family by her side on June 25, 2021 at the age of 93 years old.  She was born June 9, 1928 in Audrain County, a daughter of the late Henry Paul and Frances Potter.

Emily will be lovingly remembered by her children, Darrell (Vicki), Brenda (Jose), La-Rita (Jim), Darcy (Loyd); grandchildren, Stephanie, Christina, Brian (Robin), Chad (Charlene), Brett, Brad, Stacy (Eric), Michael; Darrell Jr., Robert Dale, several great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Mrs. Doebelin was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold; one son, Donnie; brother, Hank; one grandchild, Scotty; great-granddaughter, Josie; parents, Henry and Frances.

Emily enjoyed spending all of her time with her children, grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren.

A visitation/prayer service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico, Missouri.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Boone hospital for their care and compassion.
