Eugene Bryan

Eugene Bryan, 84, of Mexico, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at Monroe Manor in Paris.

Graveside services will be held on Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Clouse will officiate. There will be no visitation. Services are under the direction of Pickering Funeral Home.

Mr. Bryan was born on June 12, 1923, a son of Jess Edward and Edna Dawn (Bird) Bryan. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific. After discharge, he worked for MFA.

Survivors include two brothers, Theodore E. Bryan, Mexico, and Leroy Bryan, Ft. Dodge, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, three sisters preceded him in death.
