Flossie Belle Bybee

Flossie Belle Bybee, 89, of Mexico, died at 1:07 a.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Monroe Manor in Paris.

Family services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday September 24, 2011 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jeff Brown officiating. Pickering Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Bybee was born October 18, 1921, in Mexico, a daughter of Robert W. and Edna Warren (Archer) Smith. On September 29, 1937, in Fulton, she married Raymond L. Bybee, who preceded her in death December 14, 1979.

Flossie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mexico.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond Lee Bybee, Mexico, and Gary L Bybee,, Bowling Green; one daughter, Linda Mckenzie and husband Wayne, Cedar Hill, Mo., four sisters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Trombley; one brother and one sister.

Memorials may be given to the Missouri Baptist Children s Home or Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
