Geneva Anderson

Geneva Marie Sis Anderson, 79, of Mexico, died at 9:35 a.m. Oct. 19, 2006, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Mrs. Anderson was born on Oct. 24, 1926, in Brumley, a daughter of Hobart McKinley and Erea Brady Sprouse Robinett. On Sept. 21, 1946, in Jefferson City, she married James Ellis Anderson who died on Oct. 30, 1991. Mrs. Anderson had worked for Florsheim Shoe Company in Mexico for 15 years, and then at Audrain Medical Center for nine years. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Pickering Funeral Home with the Pastor Jonathan Ingram officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include a son, Arthur (Bub) Anderson, Columbia; a daughter, Ina Jean Jones, Brunswick; three brothers, Hobart Jr. Robinett of the state of Texas, Arthur Robinett, Santa Fe, and Charles Robinett, Mexico; a sister, Dorothy Wilson, Madison; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, one son, one daughter, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
