Helen M. McNatt, 84, of Mundelein, Illinois, formerly of Mexico, passed away Friday August 16, 2024, in Mundelein.

Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31st, 2024, at Pickering Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico with Pastor William Stacy officiating.

Helen was born April 4, 1940, in Mexico, Missouri. She was the daughter of William and Effie (Gentry) Harrison. On September 5, 1964, she married Barney E. McNatt in Mexico. Barney preceded her in death on November 21, 1992.

Helen was very family oriented and she very much enjoyed helping with the grandkids when they were younger. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Round Lake Beach, Illinois.

Survivors include one son, Fred McNatt (Linda), of Antioch, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Kimberly McNatt and Phoenix Armstrong.

In addition to her husband Barney, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Harrison, and Marty Harrison; two sisters, Margaret Robinson, and Darlene Sparks; and one grandson, Kyle Thomas McNatt.

Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Baptist Church in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
