Howard Eugene Ross, 53, of St. Louis, formerly of Mexico, died on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 in St. Louis.

There will be a visitation on Thursday Jan. 14, from 6 - 8 pm at Pickering Funeral Home.

Howard was born in Mexico on Oct. 25, 1962, a son of Tommy Gene Ross and Cathryn Sue Howard (Walzer).

He worked for a while as an RN and later as a Medical Social Worker for the Missouri Department of Health.

He is survived by his mother Carhryn Walzer and her husband Sam, Sun City, Az.; two daughters, Katherine Elizabeth Ross, St. Louis, and Jennifer Lynn Onofrio and husband Alex, Columbia; one brother, Chris Ross, Mexico; one granddaughter, MacKenzie McCollum; and one niece, Crystal Ann Ross.

He was preceded in death by his father.
