Ida Faye Money

Ida Faye Nannie Money, 94, of Mexico, formerly of Dallas, Texas, died at 8:55 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Golden Living Center/Pin Oaks in Mexico.
Ida Faye was born Sept. 19, 1914, in Hunt County, Texas, a daughter of Tandy Roger and Alice (Turbyfill) Quisenberry. On Dec. 22, 1933, in Hunt County, Texas, she married Henry Lester Money who preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1993.
Mrs. Money moved to Mexico in 1996 to live near her granddaughter. She very much enjoyed all her Rosewood Apartments friends and Linda who took such good care of her. She loved to cook, bake, quilt and crochet and enjoyed making things for family and friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mexico.
Survivors include one son, Roger M. Money and wife Shirley, Mexico, one brother, Lewis L. Quisenberry, Terrell, Texas, one granddaughter, Gail Pickering and husband David, Mexico, two great grandchildren, Bethanie Baker and husband Luke, Columbia, and Ryan Pickering, Mexico, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tandy and Otho Quisenberry, three sisters, Oma Roberston, Esther Graves, and Winnie Wakefield.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Jones officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 7 p.m. Burial will be in Money Cemetery in Greenville, Texas.
