Ida Pearl Northcutt, 98, of Mexico, MO, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at the King's Daughters Home.  She was born in Mexico a daughter of James Clyde and Gerda Mae (Graybeal) Weaver. On January 5, 1946, Pearl was united in marriage to E. L. "John" Northcutt who preceded her in death.

Pearl worked at Fredendall Wilkins after graduating from Mexico High School until she married and moved to the Northcutt family farm east of Benton City, MO.  She returned to work at Fredendall in 1971.  A few years later Pearl started her bookkeeping career with Safford Shoe Stores and continued to work there until she was 84 when the shoe store closed.

Pearl enjoyed cooking family dinners and making cross stitch quilts which she quilted by hand.  She had an unwavering belief in God and has faithfully been a member and attended Benton City Presbyterian Church since moving to the farm.  Pearl was blessed with the gift of offering prayers and writing notes to encourage family and friends in their lives.

Pearl is survived by two daughters; Jan (Bob) Moore of Mexico, Jo (Jerry) Moore of Jefferson City, grandchildren Eric (Tiffany) Moore, Beth Moore, Brent (Jill) Moore, Roxanne Couch and Sheri Grim, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three sisters; Lura Frances Gulshen, Alta Bess Foley, Jeanne Novak and one brother J.C. "Jay" Weaver.

Services will be held at Benton City Presbyterian Church on Wednesday April 3, 2019, with visitation from noon to 2:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Pearl's life at 2:00 p.m. with Jim Graham officiating.

Memorials may be made to Benton City Presbyterian Church, Benton City Cemetery, King's Daughters Home or a charity of donor's choice.
