James "Pudley" Stone

James "Pudley" Stone 47, of Mexico, died at 6:36 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2013.

A visitation is scheduled for 5 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, October, 1, 2013, at Pickering Funeral Home. Private family services will be held at a later date.

James was born September 7, 1966, in Mexico, the son of James Floyd and Frances Darlene (Maupin) Stone. On June 12, 2008, in Mexico, he married Peggy Johnston, who survives at the home.

James was a mechanic and he loved working on cars. He also loved music.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by six daughters, Lisa Stone Johnson of Mexico, Amber Henderson and husband Adam of Mexico, Cassandra Stone of Mexico, Zoe Stone of Mexico, Ashley Kendrick of Jefferson City, and Sydney Kendrick of Mexico; three brothers, Larry Hager and wife Vivian of Rush Hill, John Stone of Mexico, and Danny Hager of Columbia; three sisters, Evelyn Nachreiner and husband Mark of Mexico, Deborah Patrick and husband Dean of Mexico, and his twin sister, Jennifer Stone of Mexico; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Sue Hager and Mary Ann Robinett; and two brothers, Ronnie Hager and Russell Stone.
