Jean Beacom

Jean Beacom, 73, of Mexico, formerly of Columbia and Centralia, died at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Golden Living Center/Pin Oaks in Mexico.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Jean was born December 16, 1939, in Columbia, the daughter of Charles Mason and Anna Bell (Tipton) O'Brien. On August 10, 1962, she married Howard Wendall Beacom, who preceded her in death on May 12, 2005.

Jean was a Centralia High School Graduate and worked as an EEG Technician.

Survivors include one daughter, Gina Davee and husband Brent of Mexico; one brother, Charles Wayne O'Brien and wife Barbara of Centralia and one grandson, Brian Kristopher Davee.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Kathrine Fay Bise.

Memorials may be given to the Audrain Humane Society or the Mexico Animal Shelter. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
