Kenneth D. Wilson, 82, of Paris, Mo., passed away at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Monroe Manor in Paris.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday Dec. 1, 2020, at East Lawn Memorial Park with Kevin Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Kenneth was born June 27, 1938, in Jefferson City, the son of Jessie and Dollie (Porter) Wilson. On Oct. 24, 1957, in Fulton, he married Wilma J. Landers. His wife preceded him in death on Feb. 6, 1991.

Ken was a mechanic and had worked at Jewels Garage and Gas Station in Kingdom City, at an Auto dealership in Fulton, and he also worked at Wetterau in Mexico until he retired in 1974. He was also the first Tax Collector in Kingdom City. He also enjoyed his little dog Missy.

Kenneth loved playing the guitar and playing cards. He enjoyed fishing and looking at dams on lakes. He loved attending family reunions. He was a member of the Stoutsville Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Skippy Clarke Alexander of West Monroe, Louisiana, and Glenda Turnbough and husband David "Fuzzy" of Monroe City, Mo.; six grandchildren, Jennifer Clarke, April Turnbough (Rodney Shivers), Anna Turnbough, Tammy (Matt) Haiducek, Samantha (Jason) Dexter, and Marcie Turnbough; nine great grandchildren, Kelsey, Brady, Garrett, Sophia, Sierra, Jesse, Savannah, Sabrina, and Bryson; one great-great grandchild due in February 2021; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by one infant son, Daniel; one granddaughter, Ellie May Turnbough; one grandson, George W. Clarke; and eight siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
