Kenny Riechers of Mexico passed away Thursday afternoon, October 19, 2023 at the age of 72.

Visitation will be held at Pickering Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 4 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m.  Everyone is encouraged to wear bowling shirts to the visitation and service to celebrate his passion of bowling.

Kenny was born on September 4, 1951, in Mexico, Missouri to Paul and Lena (Wenger) Riechers. He graduated from Centralia High School in 1971. On September 1, 1984, he married Trena Sapp who survives.

Kenny worked at many places throughout his life, and always enjoyed the opportunity to help as many people as he could. He worked at MFA in Centralia for many years, then opened the Sinclair station on Liberty and Agriculture in Mexico with his father-in-law Ray Sapp. He operated K&R Towing in Mexico for over 20 years, along with K&R Automotive. He also worked for Graf's, Butternut, FedEx, and for the past few years he enjoyed his time farming for Tim Jesse.

Kenny was a member of the USBC (United States Bowling Congress) and an avid bowler. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, attending truck and tractor pulls, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Trena, survivors include two sons, John D Riechers and Dean Riechers (Rita), of Fenton; two daughters, Kendra Moyle (Brandon), of Mexico, and Tabatha Dickherber (Dean), of Tucson, AZ; four brothers, John P. Riechers, of Columbia, Ed Riechers, of Thompson, Gary Riechers, of Kluth, TX, and Richard Riechers, of Center; three sisters, Pat Stephens, of San Antonio, TX, Marge Baker, of Moberly, and Kay Daugherty, of Thompson; and eight grandchildren, Landon and Liam Moyle, Kaylee, Cassidy, and Ashley Dickherber, and Hannah, Andrew, and Abigail Riechers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Donald Riechers, William "Bill" Riechers, and Howard Riechers; and one sister, Sue Newland.
