Kyle Bunge




Kyle Bunge, 22, of Perry, died Tuesday evening, March 6, 2012 in Hannibal.



Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 10, at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Golden, Ill. with Rev. David Nash and Rev. Randall Sawyer officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 6-8 pm at Perry Christian Academy in Perry. There will also be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church in Mexico with Rev. David Nash officiating.



Kyle was born on April 21, 1989, in Hannibal, a son of Thomas Mitchell and Kay Lynette (Albers) Bunge. In 2007 he graduated from Mark Twain High School in Center. He was a member of the Art Club. He obtained an Associate of Arts in Video Game Design from Sandford Brown College. He enjoyed gaming, drawing and hanging out with his brother, sisters and friends. Kyle was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy in 1996 at the age of 7. He fought the disease hard, and without complaint. He lived a large life in a short amount of time.



In addition to his parents survivors include, paternal grandparents, Jerome Bunge and wife Walean, Marthasville; maternal grandparents, Francis and Virginia Albers, Golden, Ill.; one brother, Samuel Bunge; two sisters, Jenna Bunge and Aubrey Bunge; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.



He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Shirley Bunge.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) or to the First Christian Church of Mexico. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
