Larry R. Clark



Larry R. Clark, 63, of Mexico, died at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at his home.


Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Robert H. Marty officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.


Mr. Clark was born Aug. 27, 1946, in Louisiana, Mo., the son of William and Lenora (Bandy) Clark. On April 19, 1969 in Louisville, Ky. he married Mary Betty Hauck who survives at the home.


Larry was a graduate of Mexico High School, University of Missouri, and Northwest Missouri State University. Mr. Clark worked for Nexans from 1987 until 2000, worked for AP Green Refractories for 10 yrs. and was very active playing tennis year-round with The Mexico Tennis Group. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Navy.


In addition to his wife, Betty , he is survived by his mother, Lenora Clark, Mexico; one son, Robert O. Clark and wife Kristen, Mexico; one daughter, Ara E. Clark, Columbia; one brother-in-law, Norman Hauck, Louisville, Ky.; four sisters-in-law, Norma Wilhite, Jackie Hollenkamp, Peggy Baynes and husband John, and Diane Hauck, all of Louisville, Ky.; and numerous nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his father.
